The general rule of thumb is that you should have a keyword density of about 2%-5% within your content. I tend to stay on the low end so as not to compromise on my content flow too much.

Oh, and speaking of story line and flow, make sure you take the time to develop or establish your own voice and personality. Remember, people want to find reasons to connect with you. Don’t just treat article marketing as another MLM lead generation tactic. Remember to brand YOU by showcasing yourself as a genuine person and expert who wants to be helpful. Let that persona come out in your writing. And for goodness sake, don’t mislead or bore your readers. Always shoot for valuable, compelling content with a touch of light hearted humour if you can squeeze it in. Remember, give the readers a reason to follow you to your primary website and connect with you again in the future.
