To succeed you must set goals and priorities and not deviate by spending half your day browsing forums. I will warn you they are highly addictive but will not build your business or earn you money. Set your goals and priorities for the day and stick to them. Set aside only a certain amount of time for reading e-mails and researching. Another tip is only research what you need to know at that particular time for a certain step in your business. This does take willpower but does keep you focused.
One sure fire way to beat “browsing addiction” is to concentrate on making sure you have systems in place and within these systems you should incorporate check sheets. I can promise you if you have a check sheet for each project you will not just keep losing your direction and landing in various forums. Another great benefit of a check sheet is at the end of the day you can actually see what you have done. Creating simple systems like these give you a sense of control and with so many facets to running a business are a godsend.
Remember too much research could be your downfall. Before you know it you have become a research junkie and you feel you have done a days work when lets be honest you haven’t really done anything. People who work within internet marketing or selling online are particularly prone to this problem as there is just so much information out there. You must start your business today and do not be afraid of failure. We have all been there but you will learn from all the mistakes made on the way.
